i think Jason Schwartzman is the indie world's Paris Hilton. They're both more famous for being hollywood celebrities, but dabble in the music industry as well with some cheesey fucking pop records. but i dunno, i love this stuff (well, not the Paris Hilton stuff).

Ringers - two weeks

ah shit, i love this band. definitely my favorite 'new' band. i can't quite figure out what their relationship is to Aaron Cometbus, because he seems to do a lot of their artwork/fliers/shirts, etc...but he's not actually in the band. and the songs sound just like every other cometbus band, so maybe he's just ghost-writing the songs. haha

Inquisition - Fuse (live)

I mentioned this band in an earlier post, and today they posted an update about some youtube clips being available from their reunion show last year, so i decided to put it up here too. Awesome east bay Lookout era type stuff, except they were from Virginia. After splitting up, the bassist and drummer formed Ann Beretta who were very similar, the guitarist started River City High who were a major label mallcore pop-punk band, and the singer did Strike Anywhere, which I posted already.
